“Erika made great strides last year and developed into an impact player for our team and within the league as a whole,” said Technical Director Huw Williams. “Rewarding her performances with this new contract was a big offseason goal for the club and we are very excited to have her continue her promising career with FC Kansas City.”
The Bradenton, FL native spent the past three months honing her skills in Munich, Germany while on loan with FC Bayern Munich. Tymrak started four matches, made appearances in four more and scored two goals in all competition for the German side.
Stateside, the FC Kansas City midfielder has been getting in quite a bit of work with the U.S. Women’s National Team. Since August, she has been called into camp three times, and has earned two caps, the first against Mexico on September 3, 2013.
