FC KANSAS CITY ANNOUNCES PLAYER NUMBERS

Kaysie Clark will be wearing number 10 after Frances Silva switched to number 11

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Ks (February 18, 2024) - FC Kansas City's new players have selected the numbers that they will be wearing on their backs as they prepare for the 2024 National Women's Soccer League, which will kick off for the Blues on Sunday, April 12 when they host Sky Blue FC at Sporting Park.

College draftee Kaysie Clark from the University of Missouri will be wearing number 10 throughout her first professional season after forward Frances Silva made the switch to number 11.

Texas A&M and now Blues teammates, Shea Groom and Megan Lisenby (Streight) also chose their respective numbers. The Liberty, MO native will be wearing number 24 while Lisenby selected number 21. In addition, Colorado College draftee Jessie Ayers has chosen number 26.

Goalkeeper and UCLA draftee Katelyn Rowland decided to wear number 0 as she defends the goal for the reigning NWSL Champions alongside USWNT goalie Nicole Barnhart who kept number 18.

Defenders Kate Deines and Becca Moros will be wearing number 2 and 3 respectively, while midfielder Heather O'Reilly transferred her longtime number 9 to Kansas City and Yael Averbuch selected number 14.
