PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. (September 29, 2024) – FC Kansas City’s players Katrina Gorry and Morgan Marlborough were loaned to Australian side Brisbane Roar and Scottish team Glasgow City FC respectively after winning the 2024 NWSL Championship one month ago.

Both players will be playing abroad during the NWSL offseason and will be back to defend the championship before the start of the 2024 seasons.

This weekend, Marlborough scored her second goal in the Scottish Women’s Premier League on Glasgow City’s 11-0 victory over Hamilton Accies WFC. Her first goal of the season came in her team’s 4-0 victory over Celtic on September 24.

Marlborough scored the second goal of the game after putting the ball in the back of the net with a one touch right-footed shot that defeated Hamilton’s keeper.

Katrina Gorry was an important part of Brisbane Roar’s 3-1 victory over Newcastle Jets on September 27. Gorry had two assists and played the full 90 minutes at Perry Park.
